FINDING THE BALANCE - CLIMBING IN THE ZILLERTAL
The Zillertal is one of the most diverse hiking destinations at all. 1400 km of well prepared and labelled paths for all degrees of difficulties lead to three levels of height: From the sunny valley, over the lush meadows up to the rugged, lonely peaks of numerous three-thousands. 10 cable cars and the Zillertal high mountain road allow direct access to this fascinating mountain world. More than 150 traditional huts, mountain inns and snack bars offer a wide range of culinary delicacies made from products from the Zillertal and invite you to a cosy rest.
HIGH MOUNTAIN NATURE PARK
With its 379 square kilometers the high mountain Nature Park covers more than one third of the Zillertal. The impressive mountains extend the area from the mountaineering village Ginzling to the Hochfeiler peak up at 3.509m above sea level.
