CLIMBING FUN IN THE ZILLERTAL
Climbing enthusiast will find bizarre rock formations and rugged mountain slopes promising thrills in the Naturpark Zillertaler Alpen. In Zemmgrund are granite rocks, with a total height of 60 meters, nestled in the picturesque setting of the nature. Another possibility can be found when passing the mountaineering village Ginzling (in direction Schlegeis reservoir). One of the finest climbing areas in Europe and the Zillertaler mecca of climbing is also called the "eternal hunting grounds", difficulties between 4 and 10 are covered. Arround there you will also find one of the biggest bouldering areas.
Right next to our apartments is the entry into the Zimmereben climbing world. 3 climbing routes of 3 different difficulties are just 2 minute walk away. All climbing routes end up at the mountain inn Zimmereben, from which you have a marvellous view over the entire region.
Description of the climbing routes Zimmereben
A difficult but great route with some vertical, partly overhanging sections, awaits you there. The overhanging entry point impresses many rock climbers. Highlights between panel and edge climbing from hammock, rope bridge, airy traverses and overhangs - a challenging routing for climbing enthusiats. Along the route you will find info points at strinking positions.
